Do you live Gainesville more with the students in town?

Some people do since there is more life to the town while others hate the traffic and noise they bring along? Which do you prefer?

I don't know how it is now, but when I lived there between 1996 to 2000, it wasn't all that noisy...except on game days maybe. I enjoyed living there. I didn't live very close to University Ave or the other main street, so I don't know if it was louder there...but it seemed to be a pretty quiet place to me. I don't like a lot of noise, but I think the noise level in Gainesville was not extremely high, it was sometimes too quiet in some places!

Lol, yeah. I agree. It is pretty crazy on game days though. Those are the time when you want to stay away from the downtown area the best you can.

oh yes! No kidding! I remember I enjoyed riding though Gainesville a lot on the quiet days! :)

I like to go through the Duck Pond area on walks. The houses are always so wonderful and it is a typically nice quiet area. I normally go the the big library on University after a walk and read or pick up a new book.
