What Are Unresolved Discussions?

Can someone please help me and let me know what unresolved discussions are please?
The only trouble with My Lot is that I have trouble knowing exactly what we can do and what we should do do you?

An unresolved discussion is one where you haven't chosen the best response yet.
Next to each person's name on their response it says "mark as best response". You are supposed to read all your responses and mark as best the one you liked best or that answered your question best or contributed the most to your discussion. The criteria are yours, the choice is yours.
You can go to your unresolved discussions and pick a best response, then they will go off that list. I like to wait until I am sure I won't have any more responses or at least very few new responses and sometimes it is a very hard choice to make when you get a lot of really thoughtful and helpful responses. It helps the person who made the response though, I think, in their rating with mylot, so do it whenever you can.

I don't think there's a right time or a wrong time for marking the best response. I think it has something to do with how you react to how they reply. It's the quality of post and the thought that counts there. If you think they deserve the best response then give it to them. I have unresolved topics for more than months now. I don't mean not to give best responses but unless I see a very good response, I don't just point and mark them.

Well I'm going to go through my unresolved discussions (which is all my discussions) and see how many best responses I can give. I have decided that I will mark one best if I feel the response afffects me in some way. I am unable to put any kind of time limit on this, as one could receive a response two years after the discussion started and decided this is the one. I think it has just got to be chosen by the way the respnse affects you.

I know thank you. The thing is just how long do we wait before we makr them as best response. I wonder if we get more money for response that we make that are marked as best responses what do you think?
