Anyone into lasers?

I recently took apart the red laser pointer I got on my trip to China like 8-9 years ago cause I was bored. Bad idea. In the process, I probably broke the stupid thing but I have no clue considering I dont have the batteries needed to operate it anyway. Does anybody know where I can get another one in a shop or online for under $10?
