Do you let small house lizards stay in your private room?

It is not a crocodile, an aligator, nor a comodo. It's a small house lizard which always be a predator of mosquitos. They are just smaller than our pinkie. I had an experience about small house lizards. I let them stay in my private room. They were going around to drill mosquitos and other small insects. I kept watching at them. They were more than ten spreading everywhere. They were so entertaning instead of bothering me. I had an idea. Do you know that they were easy to be tricked? I got my laser pointer and started flashing a red dot in front of one of them. It's attracted by the red dot and following it to wherever the dot moved. I did the same actions to the others, until I was capable to lead 14 lizards to one same place!! Wow...!!! I doubled with my laugh as seeing such a moment! It's like a congress of small house lizards in front of me. It's so funny! And I cannot forget the "congress". Remembering it, I can't help smiling by myself. Hehehehe.... ^_^ (",) They are my friends in my private room, specially at night! They keep me away from mosquitos! Have a great day! (",)

Hi sukandar, indonesian call them cicak right? how do we say it in english? gecko ?,yup they look like lizard but they're harmless. I like to watch their tail still keep moving even when it has been cut off from their body, I wonder how and why. And the "congress" stuff sounds like a a weird hobby but worth a try. May I borrow your laser pointer ? lol.

Hi sukandar_ag. Lol. You do have a weird hobby. To me I personally am not fond of lizards. My husband is not fond of them too. He is especially the number one enemy to lizards. Every night he will tie up a dozen of rubber bands together and made it into a type of elastic to shoot the lizards. Here in our home there are always many lizards which crawl all over the ceilings and sometimes the floor. It gets yucky at times with all their stools messing up the house. They peed on us too.

Lol! You two have a fun with them too, though by shooting them (oooow...poor lizards!). BTW I don't like to be peed on by them of course. I'll just shout "Asyeeeeem...!!!" (means "Dammit!") Hahaha... (",) Have a great moment, Ladysurvivor! Thanks for sharing.

If the lizard is out of my sight, I let it go. If it tries to dance in front of me, lol, I try to make them go away. Often, I hear it but I do not get to see it in front of me. Perhaps it is smart enough to hide behind the photo high up on the wall. Definitely a big lizard and not a small one.

Ck...ck...ck... It's their sound, isn't it? Yeah...they are small and shy animal. Hahaha...I like your hope for their dancing! It would be very funny if they'd do! Let the Hollywood make the movie of little and funny small house lizards! Thanks for the response, Whyaskq! Hope you aren't disappointed of my off-line for several days. But I'm back already! God bless you!

Nooooo! They give me the creeps, I would always be scared that they would jump on me at night, they are also considered poisonous if one drops in your food by mistake and you don't notice it. The only advantage is that they eat all the mosquitoes and insects.

Dear sukandar_ag (340); Your topic of discussion and your narration look likes you are the real journalist. The expertise words for "killer subject' really draws the line. I was following your voice texts one by one, I thought you want to catch and deep fry the small house lizards...ha..ha..ha..(sorry I don't like to use LOL as it is not expressive to me and I like my expression via voice texts). PeeeeeeWWWiiiiiTtttttt!!!! and Yeeeeeee Haaaaaaa Good Luck.

i see many people, especially girls are very afraid of these room lizards. and many guys are eager only to kill them and that gives a sadistic pleasure to them. i say that these creatures are very useful as u said since they kill mosquitoes and killin them is absolutely brutal and insane

When I lived in Florida I had a couple of lizards that lived in my house. One of the little guys would sit on the arm of my couch and watch the television with me sometimes. At first when I looked up it was sitting there and it scared me. Then afterward I would see him come out and it would just sit there on the arm of the sofa and watch. So, I figured he was trying to keep me company and he ate mosquitos and other bugs in the house, he was a good friend.

I dont mind them through the house I tend not to bother them since they eat spiders and things. I am very afraid of spiders so of course lizards help me! I tend to have the motto if they dont bother me I dont bother them and it works out for the best!
