Awards and Trophies

I won some trophies for jr sports but not for anything in the secondary and above. If you read some of my previous posts or health posts you'll get why this occurred. I did win some trophies for non sporting events in high school and college. Some are in my den, but others are in my office. A couple are in my room. Its set up like this for obvious reasons. I had some awards and ribbons that I won which we did display for a time. But after several years I put them away. The same for my kids, when they won awards. I displayed them for a while then put them away when they went on to other things.

Dear Jillhill, I never won any award or trophy except one price I got from my collage for coming first on the subject. They gave me a book which I gave to one of my relatives for study. I never got it back. I am happy you won awards. Wish you all the best.

I've never won awards/trophies for any kind of sports events, but I've won many awards for other things. During school I was always the one who won science awards being the geek I was...LOL. I've won a few photography contests...and one "award" I received was years ago, when one of my published photos on the cover of a magazine won the Best Magazine Cover of the Year award...I still have a copy of it hanging up on my wall...so you can bet I'm proud of that ..and hope to win more honors like that! here's what the magazine cover looked like..this was back in 1987!!

Yes I did win some award before in sports. In the office before we won our company's basketball league and had a trophy, we displayed it in the hallway and then later on in our office section. In school the medals that I've won, I display them in the wall beside my picture in the living room of our house.
