Is war the way to peace?

There is an on going war in my country. Soldiers against the terrorists. I guess this is the best way to stop terrorism. Stop them by finishing all of them. Terrorists will not stop terrorizing. Let's stop them by terror.

This is the biggest problem my country is at now. Our government is doing something to make our place a safe place to live in.

War can be way to peace sometimes, and sometimes not.
Most of the times, a truly peace is achieved by talking and negotiation. When the two enemies discuss about their demands and finally get into an agreement they can sign on peace for years.
But in your condition, the things are different and more difficult because the war is against terrorists.
Unfortunately, it's very hard to get into agreement with terrorists because they hurt and kill innocent people in order to get their demands. Terrorists will keep their cruel and criminal actions until someone fights them back.
In Israel, as like in your country we fight against terrorists and try to stop them in order to get peace.
There are cases that there's nothing you can do against terrorism instead of war.
In the end of the day, war is bad for everyone and I prefer to solve problems with negotiation, but in many cases negotiation is not an option and you most fight back in order to get peace and quiet!

I believe that we only have one government that governs my country. This leftist and some other organizations are sometimes demanding taxes from its countrymen. To me there must be NO negotiation between party's trying to destabilized a present government. You were right terrorists are hard headed and they must be stopped by war.

Terrorists are the important reason for all the problems in the world..in my country,there are several different groups of terrorists..Each state is having a group of terrorists..so every state in my country is having problems due to them..In the border of my country,Soldiers are fighting against the terrorists daily..if the terrorism is abolished,the world would attain peace..the only way to attain peace is by abolishing terrorism..

War is the way to peace if there was no peace in the country in the first place. War and Peace aren't opposites because peace isn't just a lack of war.
