I have a heart murmur(irregular heartbeat),but....thats o.k.

2 years ago i was diagnosed with a heartmurmur.I had alot of tests done,one was a machine that i had to wear one time to record my heartbeats and electrical currents.I went to see a doctor(a new one from a different country that had moved here to work)complaing of my pain that i get sometimes.He immediatly sent me to an outside hospital for tests after test.I was then really diagnosed with this.The doctors before,even when i was little said,"oh,its just indigestin,thats all"They never even ordered tests to be done.My valve for the out take of blood doesnt fully close and blood leaks out.My heart skips/stops beats.Thats why i have a hard time to play with my daughter by running,it puts stress on my heart and causing me pain there.Saturday i tried to play with her(playing tag)i got a pain in my heart,it feels like a shock and pinching at the same time.I ended up sitting on the step and relaxing.It seems worse when i am stressed,which causes the heart to beat faster,causing more skipped beats.I take it easy alot.I go for tests every 3-4 months.The specialist said that i was born with this and that is why when i was a child i had pain when i played with my friends alot.You know kids,always running,skipping etc.not me.This is why my feelings get hurt easily,i have a sensitive heart!Ha!Ha!I had to put somthing funny to change the mood!I just wanted you to know the real me......

you are you unique that's all i can say. every person is unique. we all live a different kind of life. some others think that they are more special than the other, but i think we have something that makes us equal in this world of ours. whatever you do, you keep on doing it. your very strong willed person. strong willed person can be stopped by just anything. strong willed person will accomplished everything in his/her path. even though you can't accomplish some stuff physically, you can do it mentally and spiritually. there are better things in life that you can do without using your physical strengh. just always believe!

Well I think you have a beautiful heart, when I was a little girl at school doctors would come to the school and check us all over, when I was about 8years old the doctors said something about irregular heart beat and every week I can remember about 5 of us kids were sent by the school to this big double story house and we would have to do exercises but nothing more was ever said or done, I didn't mind for anything to get away from school for a couple of hours was good, I am still here so it couldn't have been too bad...

I've had a heart murmur my entire life and never had a problem, until last year when I had to have dental surgery. I found out there is more than one kind of heart murmur and there is a certain kind that can be dangerous with dental surgery because bacteria from your mouth can get in your blood stream and cause problems. Just make sure you inform your dentist of your heart murmur.
