Do you heat water when taking a bath or straight from the faucet.

I know that the Philippines is a tropical country, but I still have my water heated before I take a bath. I just couldn't stand water directly from the faucet it's too cold for me. I hate it when the water runs down my spine. Though it's strange because I can stand water from a deep well. How about you, please do share your thoughts.

Do you not have hot water heaters? We have two taps, one for hot water and one for cold water, on every sink and bathtub and shower in the house. The two taps are joined to the same faucet, so we can mix the hot and cold water to create water that is the temperature that we like.

Being a tropical country, having a heater supposedly it's not necessary. Most household have only one tap that's why we still have to heat our water when we want it hot during the raining or the Christmas season. Though the upper class has it, most middle class and lower class don't.

I don't use heated water in bathing. It seems like a waste of time for me. I usually just take a quick bath. There are times when the water's really cold but I just swallow the coldness and get over with it as quickly as I can. I live in the Philippines too but I can muster the coldness of the water. I take a bath early in the morning so the water's cold most of the time but I don't give a lot of fuss about it. I heard that the situation in some Middle East countries is the exact opposite. The water from their faucets is very warm even at dawn. I hope we can hear from some people in the Mid East about this. Enjoy your warm bath Neriz69, have a nice day!

I also live in a tropical country and I do not like to bathe in cold water. Thankfully, I installed water heater in my bathrooms which automatically heats up the water so that I can bathe in warm water:)

it depends upon the weather for me.. if its during summer months and or the weather is pretty warm, i dont need to heat water for my bath.. it would feel more refreshing to take it straight from the faucet than have anything warm. but if its a real cold day then i really need to heat some water.

Just like Philippines, India is a tropical country too and one of the reasons I like summer is coz I can take as many baths in cold water as I like in the summer. I hate heating water and that is what I have to do in winter. I like my water really cool (its never cold in the summer) and just to pour mugs and mugs of it, takes away all my tiredness. But in winter when I add hot water, I cant even take a proper bath coz we don’t have a geyser and heating water over the gas is pretty expensive.

I always take warm bath or shower. I hate cold water, I just can't tolerate the coldness of it. Even if I tried to take a cold shower during a hot weather, I am still feeling not comfortable with it. I am willing to turn off the faucet, wrap myself in towel and go out of the bathroom to heat the water heater. Lol. After that I will go back into the bathroom to continue my shower with warm water. That's my story. I just stand showering with cold water. I guess I have to say, join the club Neriz69.

This really depends upon the weather, if it is really cold and raining, I'd rather take a bath using hot water. I can stand and tolerate water in such low temperature, but it depends on how I feel and how my body condition is. Unfortunately, we don't have any hot/cold shower, but I guess that would do good for me. I'll just heat some water on the stove and try to put them on buckets filled with tap water, that is how I would love to do it!;)

I always heat the water when taking a shower. (I don't have a bathtub in my apartment, but I have a shower stall instead.) I can't stand taking a shower in ice-cold, frigid water.

Yes, its the case with many people including me, my mother, and my grandmothr too!! Guess its kind of heredity and one of my daughters too takes it after me- we all are used to bathing with luke warm water,no i wont say hot water, its just luke warmish, such that it does not make you shiver when you put cold watr on yourself ! I guess many people are like us, as they are used to this right from the satrt, and their parents too did not bother much to change their habit, for me as my mom also used to take a bath with warm water, so obviously she thought that the best for us too, and i guess we were never given a trial to have bath with cold water. Of course all this would depend how much the main temperature actually is, as during the summers we do have direct shower, cold water baths, but those are just those 2-3 months, rest of the year round its luke warm and winters is hot water of course.
