I usually use liquid soap, but I was wondering if anyone thought one does a more effective job than the other... This would be interesting to find out =]

Hi there. I dont take baths as i feel, like the used water is still on my skin, I take showers though and use liquid soap, because you can get the liquid soap that has the anti bacterial solution in it, and theres more of a variety in scents and smells...

hi Nardz, I agree with you. I didnt mean just baths when I used the word bathe... I prefer to take showers with liquid soap and one of those special sponges I forget what they are called...

I use those liquid soap as well, I think I haven't use the normal soap bar in ages haha. I also think the liquid soap is more convenient and longer lasting than the normal soap :)

I don't know whether or not bar soap works better than body wash or vice versa, but I do like using body washes more than bar soaps. Body washes to me, don't seem to dry out my skin as much as bar soaps do. So I guess that could be a point towards body washes being more effective..lol!

I always bath with bar soap. It works best for me. I have tried the liquid soaps and don't feel like I get really clean. Many times I will use the bar soap and then if I have a liquid soap that i like for the smell, I will use it after the bar soap.

I switch off between the 2. I have liquid soap that I use, but really like the caress body bars as well. I don't really think one does a better job over the other-- but I switch depending on how dry my skin is because one has more moisture then the other.

I use bar soap mainly because it is cheaper and last a long longer than a bottle of liquid. However my daughter have very sensitive skin and has some skin conditions. She uses a liquid soap that is fragrance and dye free. It seems to work better for her skin conditions.

I use both. All of my bath stuff is Lush. I have bar soap and I usually use that when I bathe. I use the shower gel when I shower or shave my legs.

I tend to prefer bar soap. I have used liquid soap and for some reason I feel like I have a film on my body that I can't wash off. I just don't feel clean as I do when I use the bar soap. maybe it is just me, but that is how I feel. lol

Hello suckerupper, I bath using a bar of soap. I have tried using liquid soap for my bath before but I am not satisfied with it. I feel that after I have rinse it off my skin still feel soapy. I am not sure which one does a more effective job but for me I prefer the bar of soap. Its more effective for me. :-)
