A truck for my hubbies birthday

My husband's birthday is coming up and I wanted to get him something special. After my son died, we ended up having to give our truck back because the payments were high and we needed to use the money somewhere else. The truck that he had was a brand new truck and it was very nice. It was a sad moment when we gave it back and I new that he had wanted it for a long time and then he had to give it back. I decided that I would suprise him by buying him another one. I talked to one of his friends and got a deal worked out with him to where I could pay $50 a week for a smaller truck but it was one that my husband had been looking at for a long time. I wanted to suprise my husband with it but the door got stuck and Ronnie needed help to take it off and fix it. Should I ruin the suprise and have my husband to help him or what? I need a plan to get my husband to help him without ruining the suprise, any suggestions?
