I know it's a very silly question to ask but few days before i encountered many person who have no faith in god and no matter how we try to explain them they simply resist it like they just don't want to listen about it or don't want to understand it i think that's their personal matter but sometimes when you loose hope it's the faith in god that brings us up again do you agree with me if not no then what's your opinion do you believe in god or not????

Faith is something people have to find for themselves. Nothing you can do will convince someone to change theirs , forcing them will just make a reluctant member who dosen't actually believe. Stop trying to convert people. If their looking for something let them come to you. If they feel its right for them they'll stay, if not they'll keep looking.

hi uath13 i agree with you that we can never force anyone and also i never said i am trying to convert people it's solely their matter !!! but we show them a path which we believe in and after that it's their decision !!! we only tell them not force them that you should do what i have said!!but i have seen many people doing that!!! so what about them!!!

Ah, but did they ask you to show them the path? Here's the line in your post that got my attention. " no matter how we try to explain them they simply resist it like they just don't want to listen " Your trying to CONVERT them wether you want to admit it or not. If you felt you knew the path you were taking was right and someone else came over & insisted it was wrong but had no more proof that it was than you would you be interested in listening? I had to put up with my father-inlaw preaching at me a few weeks ago. He thought we needed "Change in our Lives". He wasn't trying to convert us either even though apparently only Southern Babtists are " Good people". Supposidly there's no way to find god in any other religions sect or belief system, "But he wasn't trying to convert us". He did everything but put in a big neon detour sign saying his path was the only correct one. If anything it just proved to me that that course wasn't the right one. I can definently say I'm not likely to visit the Soughern Babtists anytime soon.

hey thank for such nice explanation now i agree with you and i understand but what if listen to him first then only we can understand what he really means to tell us rather than just ignoring him is that right and if you don't like it you can just tell him!!!!

I do believe in God. But different people have different views on life. Trying to explain God and Jesus to someone who's a free soul won't change things, unless they themselves want to change and hold on to a faith. I myself was a good example. There was a friend of mine who tried converting me but it didn't work. Now I'm a Christian, because I WANT to myself, not because someone else converted me. It's not good trying to impose your belief on other people who may have different faiths, for example, buddhism or hinduism. They won't like it.
