Do people try and sabotage your diet?

I have been trying to lose some weight. Baby steps I am trying these days. Just cutting out things I shouldn't be eating. I have noticed though that people keep telling me to try things, just eat this, a little bit won't hurt, just one. I don't think they mean anything by it they are used to me eating everything in sight. It just seems to me that it is hard to stay on course when people keep leading you astray! How about you?
