What was your first pet?

I always had animals growing up but the first pet "being mine" that I remember was Pooh-Bear the wiener dog.
She followed me all over the place but she unfortunately followed everyone all over the place and that's how I lost her.
My brother decided to go to the store up the street and she ended up following him. I guess she went on scavenger hunt or just her own designated walk and in the process she got out in the road and got ran over. :(
I still miss her, 21 years later.
So tell me about your first pet and what you remember of them.

when i was bou 4 i had a small goat, i called her bamby, she was sooooo cute. my first pet. pets are great.

I had goats as well, I was weird and gave 'em strange names.
One of my goats goatee reminded me of James Hetfield of Metallica so I named him Hetfield.

I should say that it was crickets. I played with a lot when I was a kid. I had a lot of fun with them.

I also had animals growing up..from dogs,pigs,turkeys,chicken.rabbits,only thing we didn't have was a cow! LOL
But my very own animal I got and took care of was hampsters..I had 2 then they had babies..I wanted to keep them all but my parent wouldn't let me.:( I loved putting them in their ball and let them run all over the house..

I had the cows! lol. 2 bulls and 2 heffers over the spand of about 4 to 6 years.
The bulls were really good at opening their pin up and wanting to roam the streets. haha.

Charlie. He was a cat that we had in Hawaii. I have a couple of pictures of me somewhere holding him. He was a cute white cat with grey tabby patches. According to my mom, he was so gentle that I could pull his tail, throw him across the room and a host of other things that little kids do to animals not knowing that it's wrong... he never scratched, never bit and always came right back to cuddle with me.
My mom let him out at night so he could spend the night out being a cat and all that. One morning when she went to let him back inside she found his collar sitting on the front porch. So someone who knew where he lived (there wasn't an address on the tag) stole him.

Our first family pet when growing up was a soft coated Wheaten Terrior dog her name was Brandee then along came Rily same breed..My first pet I had all to myself was my bunny rabbit his name was fluffy
