any practice to increase you jump to the rim?

any suggestion on how to increase you jump this will really help in basketball.

to increase my jum wat i did was i jump with the ball. first, get your toes tiptoed,get your arms in a 90 degree angle holding the ball. and then throw the ball up maybe 6 inches off your hand, next step is to jump tiptoed catch the ball with your hand then throw it again before your toes hit the ground and repeat. do as many sets as your body can... don't count how many you did, just do it until you are super exhausted. i did this in elementary and i did win up to the regionals.. i probably gained 7 inches doing this. do this at least three times a day.

Practice makes the person perfect. Skipping the rope is good exercise to improve your jumping ability. But as you want to specialize jumping in basket ball game. I will repeat that you should keep continue the practice and practice makes a person perfect, and practice makes a perfect the permanent.
