These regards about the two tv networks rivalry that happens to be the talk of the town today.
Who is in favor of channel 7 the "kapuso" family and
Who is in favor of Channel 2 the "kapamilya" family. And WHY?????
I just want to know about your thoughts about this. Thanks in Advance....

well i am not into both but i saw the wowowee's episode where in the two million pesos is not where it was supposed to be..we all know joey de leon is good at talking back on the oher network and for me its all humorous..i take no offense on it..as for the channel 2 they know their mistake they must not have been reacting so much about what joey says if what he says is not true right? i even told myself what joey had said..i completely make myself believe that they cheated on their program..

Being an American I have tons of questions about the Fillipino TBV shows/stations. These two mentioned are they like a National channel
or owned by the stated families? I saw another friend start one about some Joey host etc and asked questions there as well. Please try to help me understand some of this TV hype/scandal or whatever it is that's going on.

thanks for the question grandpa BOB i appreciate your interest. because even if your not a Filipino, you are still concerned with people anywhere. i only know that (ABS-CBN ch.2) is owned by the Lopez family taht also owns our Electric company. i don't know about who owns the (GMA ch.7). about this two stations that is very popular here, they are competing for ratings and popularity. yesterday willie (the one to whom Joey is talking about.) talked live about his hard feelings about Joey accusing him as a cheater in one of his fortune game contest. and now Joey answered him back.

I'm hands and feet up for GMA7, I prefer to watch shows from that channel because they provide QUALITY in terms of programming. They give better shows and entertain people, they also know how to catch the attention of the whole public viewers.
Also, they make original shows with original concepts!;)

For me this two tv networks our the two channels i do most watch. I really don't have any favorite network but most of the shows i watch comes from the kapamilya network. Because some of their shows are fun to watch and interesting.

Hello Lyn.I've always been in much favor of Channel 2. Because I like their shows better than the othe channel. But when it comes to documentaries, I'm into channel 7. In my opinion, channel 7 shouldn't use their star actors and actresses season after season of telenovelas. Honestly, it gets a little tiring to watch them.

I'm more of a kapamilya than a kapuso. I like the comedy shows of channel 7 but the telenovelas and documentaries of channel 2. Besides, I share the TV with 4 other family members and the only local channel they watch is chanenl 2 so I know nothing about the shows of channel 7. My parents who are living in the middle east have been a loyal subscriber of The Filipino Channel. I watch the telenovelas they watch so we could have more topics to talk about.

Ive always been loyal to channel 2. For the following reasons:
1. Their reception is better. hehehe
2. I like their artists and their programs and I dont think they are the only ones copying from other network (Going Bulilit Copied by GMA)
3. They dont shout when reporting (Watch Mike something).
4. They can turn starlet turn into a star while GMA can turn a star into a black hole. (Ops)
