Maria Callas is a great singer. You will feel every line that pours out her mouth. Is there anyone here who knows her? Tell me more about her if you happen to know her works and life. She is my idol in singing. No one compares to her way of singing.

Maria Callas is my favourite soprano. Both her parents are Greek and she was born in NewYork in 1923. Her first show is the Santuzza of "Cavelleria rusticanna" in Athens. She often make me tears. I love her. I have a lot of her CDS. When I get upset or depressed, her aria is the only thing which can comfort me. I'm glad you are a fan of Maria Callas too.

This is very exciting to know that at least there are a few who knew her and have her work listened to. I would want to have a copy of some of her CD's but I can not find any here in my country. What I have are copied from the internet. Happy listening to Callas,.

I know her... she is a European classical opera singer... actually the name Callas is close to the name Callia which means beautiful voice...

I read in an article that she was having an affair with Onasis who married Jackeline Kennedy. Australia is the best place for opera too.
