I am about a month or two pregnant and Im very excited about it however I have been having way to much nausea. I know some is normal but I am worried becuase I am constantly pucking up my water day and night, pucked blood and stomach acid last night and I can hardly sit here right now instead of running to the toilet for back up. Is there anyone that understands the depth of my nausea? Anyone who has experienced it before. Is this a sign of twins or more than I can handle in my stomach?

Hi Jenna. Congratulations! It's part of the process, dun worry about it. I have five children - and I went thru' the same thing with all five pregnancies. Funny thing was when I was pregnant with my 3rd. child - it wasnt morning sickness... it bacame Evening sickness! But i dun remember if pucked blood.. ? probably nothing to worry about. I agree with the 1st. response (Eve) - sucking a plum does help. But i dun like plums, so I made myself a jar of Lime Juice to bring to work... I'll have small sips of it whenever I feel sick.. I also keep the lime skin - and smell it... wierd ?! I guess the 'citrus' smell somehow keeps me for throwing up. Dun worry about... it is REALLY just A PHASE we pregnant NORMALLY go through... It will normally last until the fourth~fifth month. Take care, Jenna.

uh-oh... seems like i've offended dear Jenna. i am soooo sorry !! (:{) what I MEANT by not overdoing it... is not about gaining the extra lbs. or kilos!.. i was voicing my concern because some of us believe that eating too much of anything can cause uneasiness, tummy upset, body get overheated... all that stuff... even from eating too much orange - but then again... that's what we believe in my country. i was telling the story about the pineapple craving because - we also believe that eating slightly too much of pineapple during the early stage of any pregnancy - can make us 'loose' the baby / fetus. anyway... i hope i hadnt offended you in any way. i am sure you'll get thru' phase and handle it well. take care, dear.

Hi Jenna, Sorry i was away the last 3 days... Well, i have 3 girls and 2 boys... the eldest is 13, and the youngest is 3+. The 3rd. is a boy... No, none of my children are twins...(thou'... i had dreamt of having twins)... Orange juice sounds nice.. but let's not overdo it, 'kay. I remember my 'OB' advised - always do (eat) everything in moderation... I dun remember any 'crazy' cravings, but i do remember - when i was pregnant with my 3rd. child (yeah... him... again)... i was really into buns + pineapples. In my country - it is believed that eating pineapple is not very good while your're pregnant - especially during the earlier stages. (It is believed that pineapples 'cleanses' the womb - that's why is not good to eat too much of it while your're pregnant). Thank god nothing bad happened to my dear boy. Good luck.
