Do you ever have good discussions that get 0 replys or only 1 reply?

Its a matter of wether or not the title grabs attention & when you post it. It could be that nobodies notincing them.

No Cathie, not to often, I see you just started lookinf at you number. when I first started that would happen, but I have been here for 1 yr. I always get at least 10 to 20. don't worru you will!

I've had that happen to a few of my discussions too. I guess somethings I think are interesting just dont appeal to everyone. I answer more posts than I start by far.

Yes, I've quite alot of discussions that I created with either little or no responses at all. I guess is probably only me who think that those discussions are good but do not appeal to others.

Well it happens. But some topics some have no comment on. Plus I don't start a lot of discussions to begin with. (Go check, its not even half a page yet ;p) I usually respond to stuff, so I don't really let low responses to my topics sweat me. I do pay attention and rate/respond to the threads but of course people are gonna post or not post depending on the circumstances.

I am the same,I tend to post in obscure areas and on subjects that some find hard to answer or are just not interested.so I tend to answer more posts than ask. I'll try to keep an eye open for yours,and if I can give you an honest answer,I will be happy to. Blessed Be.

My first month or so on mylot, I had a lot of those. I don't have them anymore, because now I have enough friends with enough similar interests that I always have people replying to me. In fact, I make new friends through my discussions all the time because we find interests in common. Most of what I start discussions about are things that really interest me, so it leads to friendships that can continue across many discussions, not just a response that one time. For example, I started one topic about a particular anime that I like, and since then I've made many friends who also enjoy anime. So if I start a discussion about anime, I'm definitely going to get responses, because I know there are people interested in that here. It's all about making the right friends and finding out what people want to talk about. =)
