I am applying to work part-time nights so my husband can stay home with the girls. They gave me a first and second interview back to back...I hope thats a good sign. Here is the funny part of the story....I was getting ready for the interview when I noticed my 5 year old getting socks & shoes on. I asked her why she was getting her shoes on and she said..because I couldn't find my sandals, obviously not understanding what I was asking, I asked her why she was putting them on at all...she said to go to the job interview. She thought she was coming with me. lol It was so cute. I had to explain that we couldn't take children to job interviews. She looked so disappointed. Wouldn't it be nice though if we could take them to a pretend interview to help prepare them for them when they get older?

I am glad to know that you got a job interview today. I hope that you will be smooth to get the job that you look forward to. It is nice to have some part-time job afer your full-time one. Make sure that it is a job not way too much for you as you will have to get up early for the next day's job and have to prepare for the breakfast of the whole family. It is really interesting that your five-year-old daughter wanted to go with you for the interview. It could be good for her to experience some kind of interview for a job at her young age, which will impress her a lot when she grows up. She will probably find it interesting when thinking of this experience as an adult later. lol.

That is absolutely adorable! You could set up a mock interview with a friend and let your daughter watch. I hope she will be okay when you leave for work one day?! I remember when I was young my cousin's mom was a bank teller. My cousin and I would set up a table with all types of pieces of paper and play money and we played bank teller!

ARen't kids the cutest? My youngest does this, too, as mommy isn't supposed to leave the house without her. :) Even when her daddy is home (She is SUCH a daddy's girl!) she thinks when mommy leaves, she goes too. I suppose that is the downfall of being a SAHM. She HAS to go everywhere I go. LOL! That does sound like a fun "game" the kids could play. I mean, they play house, library, doctor... why not job interview, too? I may have to introduce that idea to my kids. Good luck with the job aspects!

Wow, wthat s was really cute.I have never been thinking about this idea, bring child with us.But yeah, I mean why not?It could really help them prepare, when they get older and I am sure it would be probably more relaxed for us too, if we can hev a child there.

Mothers are the idols of their children. Because of the attachment between mother and child mothers are the early age role models. At the same time no entertainment is greater than the attachment borne with our kids. Parenthood is our second childhood when we once again experience PLAY; PLAY with our kids. It's enjoying. It's a gift of life. good day.
