When to say goodbye to your old car?

My husband is having a difficult time saying goodbye to his 1993 Ford Aerostar. This car is super old with over 200,000 miles ,and he still wants to keep this old car even if he gets a new car soon. The car still runs good because of proper maintenance ,but I'm concern for his safety ,and I don't think it makes sense to repair this old car everytime it breaks. Anyone who wants to share a similar situation?

I guess they don't understand that cars don't last forever. We are popular for having the oldest car in town. Ha ha!

I'm having the same problem, with a BMW from 1996. It has over 300.000 miles but it still work proprely. Now i'm decided! I'll sell it because i'am afraid togo with it on the road! So get a new one!

Good for you, go and get a new one! Wow 300,000 miles and still works properly. I guess some cars can make it more than others.
