Dog Fighting...How Cruel and Wrong

Did anyone see this programme on bbc1 about dog fighting? How can people be so terribly cruel.
Dog fighting organizers were secretly filmed talking about illegal dog fights and egging on dogs to kill each other at the fights. At the end of one fight the main organizer was filmed attempting to kill one of the badly injured dogs by clipping the dogs tail to a fence, throwing water on it and electrocution but when this didn't work the poor dog was killed in another way. I personally love dogs (and cats). It really saddens me that there are so many people out there who seem to enjoy inflicting pain on unfortunate animals. This is not to mention how dangerous dogs trained for fighting can be to other animals and kids. I would love to force these savage thugs to fight each other as punishment - see how the hell they liked it.
What on earth makes people so evil? That is what they are in my opinion.

I feel that this truly shows how desensitized and depraved today's society has really become. Its like people feel that since animals can't talk, its alright to do things like this to them. Maybe they are hiding feelings of what they would really like to do to people instead. But this is cruel and wrong, and these people who participate in these dog fights should be locked up deep in the mental institution and evaluated for life so we can get this faulty programming out of our society.

Lol, unfortunately you would have more crazies betting on those fights!!! The best thing to do is rehab, because then you get rid of the errant mentality. Once you erase it from society, you no longer have to worry about it.

In my opinion, dog fighting is wrong, and the people who do it should be locked up!!!

I think those people are sick and needs to go to a psychiatrist for treatment. It saddens me to see things like this, I once had a pet pitbull. Those dog are very kind and gentle, its not in their nature to be violent, its man like these who makes them one.
