about my country

hi! as this is your first post... i would like to welcome you to mylot. :) i've visited indonesia a few times since 2001 and the longest i've stayed there was five months. i have great memories and experience there whenever i visit indonesia. i've only been to jakarta and yogyakarta. i've met some very nice people there too. i love the hand painted art and the wood sculptures coz they are very artistic. i also love the traditional dresses i see in the malls. i also respect the religious practices. the only thing is, i had a hard time communicating because i know very few words in bahasa indonesia. that is why, i'm trying to learn some more words before i go there again in october. :) maybe you can teach me some. makasih! :)

Hi, I come from Jakarta. But now, i live in the Netherlands. For Jakarta, too crouwded with car and motor. But i still love Jakarta, of course. It is my own country...lol. Even i live in the Netherlands but i still miss my own country.
