newspaper - do you read?

how much time do you spend each day reading the newspaper?
do you get a daily dose of the newspaper? is it delivered to your doorstep everyday?
I dont read the newspaper everyday. I buy it every sunday, the sunday news is a summary of the week. and it has lots of classified advertisement.
it takes me 1 - 2 hours to read the weekly newspaper. I like to stay current with the news.

I used to take a daily paper and a Sunday paper. But over six months ago I quit taking the daily paper to save money and because I only skimmed through the headlines and read very few and read the comics. It turned out to save me a lot of time and the worry of whether the paper had come. Now I buy a Saturday paper at the supermarket when I go every Saturday inorder to have the weeks TV schedule. I chose a slect few comics I really liked and read them online everyday. I get my other news, besides the TV, at an online site I was visiting everyday anyway.

I guess I would have to say the online since It is easier to narrow in on the main topics I am interested in. Also it is a site where just by visiting enough pages you get points up to a daily max toward entering their contest. It is very easy for me to follow sports there such as tennis which was not well covered in my local newspaper.

I get to read newspapers, I mean it with an S, everyday. we have subscriptions here in the office for 5 newspapers and it is part of my work that I scan each of them to look for a clipping related to our agency's concern. ^_^;; at first I didn't like it coz of the smell and its not everyday that there are clippings about "us". but then, its kinda interesting to read newspapers too aside from the fact that it feeds me the latest news around the country and around the world, but sometimes I can cut some pictures of some of my interests like anime, rafael nadal, movies, etc. ^__^

When i have the time, i do read newspaper to keep me informed about the latest happening in my country. It keeps me well informed about a lot of things. I usually do it, during week ends because my whole week is very busy.

I dont spend much time reading them really, Iscan through them because as an Adminsitrative Assistant thisis part of ky job to collect clipplings that may have an implication on the Ministry or the Schools. If there is a header that grabs my attention I will read it or if I hear my co workers discussing things theni rad to get informed. I sometimes carry the paper home but the only person who reads them is my 9 yr old.
