I am a desperate drummer.lol.so if ever I'll become a part of a band,or having my own band,i wanted to play drums. I've already tried playing guitar, but it was so painful especially if your hand is too small.Im finding a hard time keying some notes,so I tried playing drums.and it was so fun!..I love playing drums, but I already stop from attending my drum lessons because of my working schedule, and I dont have my own drumset.I'll just pursue that if I already have my free time and my own drumset. I really admire those guys and girls playing drums.they are so amazing. how about you?what instruments would you want to play if ever you'll be a part of a band?

Well, Alphasee, consider yourself lucky, I mean playing an instrument is a skill which can be learned but vocals are a natural talent which not everyone can be good at. I think I would consider "vocals" as an instrument, and think about it, it's always the vocalists in the bands getting all the attention.

i'm also a desperate drummer. when i was still in high school, my classmates & i are playing air drums, or we just used our chair to have a sound. my cousin have a set of entertainment, he got acoustic guitar, electric guitar & drums. when i'm bored i'm going to their house & ask him to teach me on how to play an acoustic guitar. then he taught me the song wake me up when september ends by greenday & jeepney by spongecola. i just played the chorus part of that song & i didn't manage to finish the whole song lol anywayz, on the drums, i thought it's just easy to play drums, but when i'm already playing drums just like for example umbrella by rihanna, i really had a hard time placing the perfect beat for the song hahaha.. that's why i just give up lol

LOL. same here. the brother of my best friend gave up on me way back then when he's teaching me on how to play guitar. I kept on complaining, that is why he got so irritated., yeah. I thought that playing guitars and drums were easy. if you'll look at them playing it, they were just like a kid playing and enjoying.. I already tried playing the drums with the beat of "wake me up when September ends" and "darna".. with the guitar, the first song that I played was "If".. too bad, they gave up on teaching me.LOL.

I would really like to learn how to play either a piano, a guitar or perhaps even a violin.. all string instruments but, I wouldn't mind making beats with a drum set. (^_^ ) Knowing that I'm not that of a musician, I always fancied playing those arcade games wherein you play along those instruments and perform your way through every stage like that last one I remember, Taiko: Drum Master I think. For now, since I haven't been out to play those arcade games, I either settle with Guitar Hero series on our console or DJ Max Portable 2 on my hand held (-_- )

LOL. same here. I am so addicted playing guitar, and drums in the arcade. , it was so fun, and whenever I play those, I always feels like I am playing instruments in front of many people. (well, whenever I do play, lots of people are watching.). I kinda miss playing those. since I am always busy, I am finding a hard time going to the mall.

Am not confident with Percussion Freaks or that other arcade game with a guitar.. and whenever I do get to go at those arcades, I really wish that they'd isolate those music games from each other so that you wouldn't have a hard time listening to your own game music while other music games are also being played by other players.. (-_-") Well, you can always go to the mall with that purpose alone, to play those music video games (^_^ )

i would play the bass guitar. i really love to play the bass guitar. i know how to play the basics. i have a band, but im the vocalist. one time i tried to play the bass instead of singing. but since it is really not my forte, they just want me to take control of the microphones...

I am much too old to have my own band now but if I could turn back the clock I would most likely choose to play keyboard or guitar. If it was a traditional Irish band then I would most definitely like to play the violin. I have quite a lot of friends who are very musical and they all play musical instruments so we often get together and have a bit of a musical evening at home.

hi, i want to be able to play drums. that's nice to lead the beat of other player in the band. but i think i prefer playing guitar. i play acoustic guitar and i used to learn classical pieces. well, it doesn't mean that i want to perform it on the la scala . i just play it for fun. now i hardly get time to practice it and i forget almost all the pieces.

I would definitely want to be the keyboard player! They don't seem to be as necessary as they once were but when I was a teenager in the 80's pretty much every pop band had a keyboard player and I always wanted to be this person! lol.

Hmmmmm...... I always wanted to have my own rock band but since I cant sing that well I want to play guitar in my band. Playing guitar is my hobby and I love to play my guitar when I get Bored or when I am tensed. Its not easy to play guitar, infact, I think its the most important part of the band and toughest job to do in making your band a hit. well, If I ever got a chance to play some instrument in a band, I will definately opt for guitar!

No it is'nt.It was so fun to play and to learn. but of course, It will take some time. because you really need to work hard for it,and learning something would be in just a snap. remember that patience is a virtue. -thanks for responding!
