If you have your own band,what instruments would you want to play?

I would love to have pure guitar talent. I love bands such as In Flames, U2, Linkin Park...Mostly heavy rock bands, and additionally I have an awesome singing voice. I know "vocals" aren't an instrument, but I wish they were.

I would also go from drums like you, if I happen to participate in a band. Beating own drums would really be very interesting..........LOL!

I would really like to learn how to play either a piano, a guitar or perhaps even a violin.. all string instruments but, I wouldn't mind making beats with a drum set. (^_^ ) Knowing that I'm not that of a musician, I always fancied playing those arcade games wherein you play along those instruments and perform your way through every stage like that last one I remember, Taiko: Drum Master I think. For now, since I haven't been out to play those arcade games, I either settle with Guitar Hero series on our console or DJ Max Portable 2 on my hand held (-_- )

I wanna play drums. Its my frustration. I know how to play the guitar so I wanna try something different. And because I love the noise, I prefer drums.hehehe

i'm also a desperate drummer. when i was still in high school, my classmates & i are playing air drums, or we just used our chair to have a sound. my cousin have a set of entertainment, he got acoustic guitar, electric guitar & drums. when i'm bored i'm going to their house & ask him to teach me on how to play an acoustic guitar. then he taught me the song wake me up when september ends by greenday & jeepney by spongecola. i just played the chorus part of that song & i didn't manage to finish the whole song lol anywayz, on the drums, i thought it's just easy to play drums, but when i'm already playing drums just like for example umbrella by rihanna, i really had a hard time placing the perfect beat for the song hahaha.. that's why i just give up lol

I am much too old to have my own band now but if I could turn back the clock I would most likely choose to play keyboard or guitar. If it was a traditional Irish band then I would most definitely like to play the violin. I have quite a lot of friends who are very musical and they all play musical instruments so we often get together and have a bit of a musical evening at home.

I would definitely want to be the keyboard player! They don't seem to be as necessary as they once were but when I was a teenager in the 80's pretty much every pop band had a keyboard player and I always wanted to be this person! lol.

hi, i want to be able to play drums. that's nice to lead the beat of other player in the band. but i think i prefer playing guitar. i play acoustic guitar and i used to learn classical pieces. well, it doesn't mean that i want to perform it on the la scala . i just play it for fun. now i hardly get time to practice it and i forget almost all the pieces.

i would play the bass guitar. i really love to play the bass guitar. i know how to play the basics. i have a band, but im the vocalist. one time i tried to play the bass instead of singing. but since it is really not my forte, they just want me to take control of the microphones...

I am a keyboardist in the worship team in my church. So if there's a band I'll settle with the keyboard.

I like drum also. Every time when I see a band i always look at their drummer, because it's so cool. but sadly, i heard rumors that playing drums is difficult. And i don't have patience to learn it. :(

definitely the guitar and vocals I find comfort in singing only if i have my guitar with me. I suck at drumming haha

I want to play guitar

Hmmmmm...... I always wanted to have my own rock band but since I cant sing that well I want to play guitar in my band. Playing guitar is my hobby and I love to play my guitar when I get Bored or when I am tensed. Its not easy to play guitar, infact, I think its the most important part of the band and toughest job to do in making your band a hit. well, If I ever got a chance to play some instrument in a band, I will definately opt for guitar!
