Money or Jewels !

If you were given a choice of either money or jewells, what would you choose. There are gems on one side and equivalent money on the other, what would your choice be ? I think I would go in for gems, as their monetary value keeps upgrading..

My first choice is jewells first and then money.Because jewells can be preserved in well safe place but money can not be preserverd well in safe place. So this is one type of saving by preserving jewells.

I need money now. If I took the jewels I'd still have to sell them to get the monetary value so I'd rather have the money. I don't wear jewelry anyway so to me having jewels aren't as important as having cold, hard cash that I can spend now.

I'd choose money. Gems would be difficult for me to figure out what to do with, and it would be difficult to sell around here, I think. Whereas money is more flexible.

personally i would go for the jewelry. value goes up in time. and if i need money i can always pawn it and can redeem it anytime. so it will still be in my posession. money the moment is spend it, it's gone forever. just being practical.

If I were given a choice of either money or jewels, gems on one side and equivalent money on the other, I'll probably choose gems. Like you I believed the value of gems appreciate overtime. :-)
