If you did not catch the episode of the David Letterman show with Hillary Clinton on it, don't worry! You can watch a video of her top ten Campaign Promises on You Tube. It is actually very amusing, but I hope that it won't create the wrong impression of her as a Presidential Hopeful. What are your views of Hillary as a possible President of the United States, and Why? I am still undecided, but am not entirely certain that she would be a bad choice. What do you think?

I don't really care for Hillary Clinton at all and would not want her to be President for many reasons, most of which have to do with character and integrity. Therefore, I am likely to think the Letterman send-up is a lot funnier than you would, but it's good that you can laugh even if you are a supporter of Clinton. Everyone needs to be able to take things a little less personally and seriously and then maybe politics would be a much improved arena.

Well, since I started this discussion, I have done further research into Hillary and have found articles and information that point to her lying already and simply saying what the voters want to hear. She has not even gotten the nomination yet, and already the lies start! I have changed my mind about voting for her, but have not found an alternative as of yet. I really doubt that we can trust any of them! And yes, I do have to admit the video was funny. Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately, you are right. It didn't start during this campaign though, it started way back during her husband's administration. But people want to overlook things at times, and for some women, they want a woman in office more than they want to examine closely. I think it's great that you are able to examine the facts and decide on them, that shows you take your vote seriously and I am glad to know it. I hope you find someone who represents your viewpoint and also measures up to your standards and principles.
These are important issues and I think that we women need to put gender aside and think as citizens, which is what we always have said we want to be - citizens first, female second. It's a shame we don't have more women in the public arena, maybe someday that will change.

As I said in a previous post, I don't mind a woman as the President but I really don't care for Hillary. She can't seem to pick an opinion and stay with it...she seems to switch opinions depending on which side is going to do her the most good. She also strikes me as wanting it too much...the power that is.
