My youngest grandson is Autistic. There is a Walk for Autism coming up here in Minnesota. I my wife, daughter, and grandson are walking in this and are collecting donations for this. This is the link. In the search box type my name Robert Olson. Then after the page loads my name will appear below the search box in a clickable green link. Click that to donate online. Your donation then will appear as a supporting me in the walk. This donation is tax deductable. Even a dollar or 5 dollars is helpful. Autism is widespread. This is the 1st walk here in Minneapolis. It will be held on Oct 6th and we need donations . We are trying to get at least $300 as thats our goal we set. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. If you're near Minneapolis join the "Bubba's Clan" for the walk on Saturday October 6th at Lake Nokomis. Thanks again. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~ http://www.kintera.org/faf/search/searchParticipants.asp

Bob., I can't get the link you gave to work. It says the site is no longer active. I was hoping I could donate a little money. I did see that you have another discussion here on the same topic, so I will see if there is a different link there. I didn't know your grandson had autism. This is something I can relate to, as my only nephew, age 10, has Aspergers. As you would know this is a form of autism. He has all the symptons.

Oh my goodness Bob I'm so sorry to hear about your grandson. I don't know a lot about Autism, just what the TV movies have said. I hope your walk goes well and that the weather is nice. How severe is your grandson. The way I understand it some are more severe then others. God bless you and yours.

He is a medium case I feel. He has no fears is the main problem with him. He isn't very attentative at times. He can only concentrate on one thing for so long before he gets really upset. he doesn't like trying new foods. His stomach reacts to new foods more than a normal childs. On and on and on. Too much to try and add here. But he is healthy otherwise and VERY active most the time as well. He is a sweetheart too. I've gotten one $5 donation so far out my $300 goal. Hee hee. I have yet to donate myself though. Who knows, it may be me donating the full amount if I can't get any. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
