Ok, so im sat in my room, crying my eyes out (sad i know) because of a great big spider sat above my door.. i hate them and have a big phobia... so its sat at top of my door , i cant get out, i think im doomed....
even now while typing this ive got my eyes on it....
what shall i do, please help me...

Do you have a broom or a spray bottle or anything like that? I have a huge fear of spiders too, so I know how you feel. But if you can't get your dad to help, try finding something you can kill it with where you don't have to be close to it.

i could toss something at it , but not guarantee it will die, it could just run...

Yeah, you could, but if it runs you might not know where it went. It's better if you can kill it then you know it won't bother you. I really hope you can find something to use to help you!

Hi there. I know this happened 8 hours ago, but Im still going to reply incase its still there... So why dont you spray it with some aftershave, its not going to kill it, but you will be able to get out of your room to get the vacum cleaner and suck it up or get someone, to catch it and put it outside... I cant stand spiders either, especially if its a big one... Good luck with this one, if you havent already done something about it...

it gone now, and im sat here comfortably without that spider...
as i said in one of my previous replies... i finally picked up the courage to walk underneath it, through the door, and downstairs to sleep...
but my dad came down for a toilet in the night... asked me why i was there... so i told him and he got some toilet paper and got in spider inside of it, squished ofcourse... but thanks for your concern.

So what's the verdict? Did you kill it? I am afraid of them too. I usually try to spray them with bug spray or hairspray and most of the time they fall and if you know spiders they crumble into a ball making it literally impossible to find them but then I'll sit and wait again for it to climb the wall and if it's on the floor or wall level with me I'll smash him with my shoe but if it's above me on the ceiling or molding - that's when I spray....it falls. I also let out a scream every time I smash them with my shoes. Did you kill it yet?

Well i finally picked up the courage go walk right under it, and through the door, so i could sleep in the living room on the couch, and my dad came down for the toilet, and saw me down there, so he went into my room with a piece of toilet roll, and got in there, squished ofcourse, how can he do that?! i would never be able to get so close to it!
