He gets so excited when this time over year rolls around and he can start reading about all the schools and choosing the best game to go see each Friday. He is at a game as I speak. He was thrilled to get to go and use the new lens he got for his fancy camera. He was so cute this morning as we talked about our plans for the day. I could just hear the excitement in his voice. He invited me to bring our son and meet him at the game but I know him well enough to know he was just being nice. He was like a little kid anxious to get outside and play with his new toy on Christmas day. He wanted to be able to play and take pictures without having to keep up with us. Does your significant other have anything like this in their life? Something that borders on annoying and can frankly be inconvenient at times, but they are just so cute about it that you just want to hug them. I will have to smile and hear about some promising young running back that will surely be recruitted heavily by colleges. I am good at that because I have done it for years.... but NOW I am going to have to endure the pictures as well. Oh help me.
