Some of you might have read about the captain of a shrimp boat deliver his cook's baby at sea. It was just her, her husband the deckhand, and the captain. Even though the child was born feet first, mom and baby returned to land safe and sound.
So giving birth in a shrimp boat has to be up on the list of bad places to have a baby. The worst place to me would be church. No way I'd let anyone near me if I went to church with them. Forget it, I'd deliver the baby myself! LOL
My question to you, is where do you think the worst place to give birth would be? Men, you can add your input even though you can't have babies. I look forward to reading the creative answers from both females and males.

Mmm I think I have a virtual list here:
How about a woman giving birth in either a jammed packed subway or bus during rush hour?
Or how about a crowded elevator in a skyscraper and she starts going into labor while the elevator is on the 90th floor?
Or during a theatre performance on Broadway?
Movie theater?? LOL
Why would a church be bad? To me I'd think that be a great place as your on "holy" ground.

Well I don't remember a crowded elevator, but there was one who gave birth in a skyscraper elevator with 2 onlookers. And of course, the elevator stopped working so there was no outside help.

Id have to say on airplane, during a flight. They wont let you fly past so many weeks...34 maybe, but you never know if you might end up in preterm labor or something!

Amber, you come up with the best discussions. That is so funny that you do not want anyone you go to church with seeing you...lollllllllllllll....I know what you mean! The worst place for me would be on the floor. I hate dirt. I don't like to feel dirty.

The worst place that I knew from my friend is some woman in the public toilet gave birth to her baby. i feel so bad for the woman. The baby was so unlucky to be born in a toilet where he was not supposed to.
I am happy to say that I was born in a hospital, a big one in the city. My mom went to the hospital a few hours earlier to wait for my arrival to this world. I love my dear old mom as always for her hard time to give me birth as well as to bring me up.

I can say no more about that. Thanks for your response. I think that you are a good mother like all the mothers.

I think the worst place to give birth would be in a tent, while you are on a camping trip.A place with one one around except you and your hubby. That would be scary.

UGH! On a shrimp boat? Eeeewwww! But I guess they didn't have much of a choice did they? I think for me the worst place would have to be in a public restroom. All of those germs! And who knows how often those floors and fixtures are cleaned? Ick!

That's why picked a church as the worst place. I'd never be able to look any of them in the face again. It wouldn't matter that it is a natural process or that I couldn't help it, I'd be finding me a different church! Strangers are bad though. You could call out is there a doctor here? And someone could come up and help deliver the baby, and only later you realize he was an escaped convict! LOL
