What do you say to a person who cuts the line in a long queue?

You're in a hurry and weary of waiting, when it is already your turn somebody cuts the line how do you react to such impertinence. Do you say a lot of innuendo or just box them instantaneously without a word?

wow... nice team work! i think most of the time i did that (caution someone for cutting the line)... it seems like i am the only one who does. and the other people would stare at me in disbelief. i guess people in my society are still so 'courteous', kind and forgiving... they just let others be rude to them - look at them funny or glare 'angrily' but say nothing - i dun get it.

It's a good thing you've got the guts or the courage to say that. Would you do the same if the culprit looks sturdy like he frequents the gym? Most of the time I really just gave them the stare at them for a moment, hoping that they would realize that what they are doing is downright rude. In my case it's very rare that they get embarrassed but there are occasion that it was an honest mistakes. I wish I can also say loud and clear, "HEY, NO CUTS."

i really hate that!... but i do experience that some times... normally, by older people - maybe they think because they're old - it's okay to cut the line - wihout asking ?? my immediate response is always : "EXCUSE ME! WE ARE ALL LINING UP HERE!" because when someone cuts the line - he/she does not only cuts you but the rest of the line as well. so... i would even shout the same respond if someone cutting the line somewhere in front of me. i guess that if someone has no shame in being that rude - he/she wouldnt mind being shouted at like that in public. what do you think ? am i the one being too agressive ? i hope not....

i tend to mutter expletives under my breath about under socialised morons, and get on with it. Maybe i should let them know how i feel, but i just swallow hard and move on, life is too short blessed be

the nerve.... some people really are so rude to do that. we are all in a hurry and cutting a queue on a line is really irritating. specially when you waited a long time there.

when that happens i say "excuse me i was here first". if that doesn't work, i pushhim/her out of my way. If its someplace like a cashier, i resort to drastic measures: puch the cashier person to ackowledge that i was there first and ignore the other person. Ha! serves them right. then i mutter evil things about the person who cut in line
