When is Johnny Depp at his Best?

Sure we all love him as Captain Jack Sparrow
but I feel Johnny Depp is alwyas at his best when he is with Tim Burton
because they both always think outside the box and are so immensely creative like in Edward Scissorheads,Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,Sleepy Hollow and now in Sweeney Todd(which by the way looks awesome)
even Gore Verbinski and Jery Bruckheimer were hesitant with Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow look when he came up with it in the first movie and thats what brought him into mainstream movies!!
What do you think Johnny Depp outside the box as mentioned above
or Johnny depp in movies like Finding Neverland where he is more like a normal person( to mirror J.M.Barrie)

personally i love johnny depp in his role as jack sparrow. but then again i love him in all his roles. from edward scissorhands to his role in secret window. hes a brilliant actor, very diverse in his roles also. i think that his partnership with tim burton is great and they work so well together

I would have to agree with you.
Some of my favorite movies of Johnny Depp are when he's
at work with Tim Burton.
I love Tim Burton movies in general as well so that could be why I believe that.
But Johnny Depp in my opinion is just such an excellent actor in any role.
