Which color are Taxi cabs in your city?

Well here in Stirling, Scotland where I live the taxis all used to be whatever colour they wanted until a few years ago and now they are all white! There are many different makes and models but they all have licensing plates, operator no and are white! xxx

There are three colors of taxi around here, depending on the locations. On Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the taxis are red in color. In New Territories, the taxis are green (forest green) in color and on the outlying islands, the taxis are blue in color. I think I love the red ones the best, they are really eye-catching!

Well I live in London as you know, so we have those lovely black cabs! Famous everywere in the world:-)) I love them!! We do have some private hire companies though, that use any type of private car, and charge the earth, so are usually best avoided! And I like the yellow and black Barcelona taxis - they look like litle bees or wasps - LOL!

Never different.Old good yellow surving America for an example.Different by size and brand but never in colour.(I'm talking about in Bulgaria).

I am from Guangzhou, China. Here the taxi colors are red, green and yellow. They belong to different taxi companies. So you can recognize them by the color.

Here in Phils, there are two types of taxi colors...white with it's blue or black tripes and of course, the yellow ones.

We have two types, one is the typical yellow cabs which I think are in majority of cities, but then we have a black cab company as well. They are solid black other than their white company name on the sides. They also come in a variety of models, including station wagons. These are odd to me and strange looking.

here in my city,taxis are of black and yellow color.. fully black and only on top its painted yellow..it looks quiet ok only.. but it might from state to state..am not too sure whether it is of same color everywhere in my country..!

Here in our locality (Davao City, Philippines) there are two major taxi cab colors, the white and the yellow ones. They are either with or without aircon. Around 95% of the taxi cabs are painted white and soon will be the color to be adopted by all taxi cabs.

here in cairns the color is white and it has printed words black & white i dont know what it means since i just arrive here but thats the color

We have silver one with some blue stripes on the side near the tires,and some kind of deep red,green one,but the silver one is the best one i like.

In My city too , Cabs are painted Black and Yellow. And so are they in many other Indian Cities.

i am living in SINGAPORE. cabs here have quite a lot of colors. the majority are yellow, black and blue. some executive are silver, gold and white.

In my city taxis are all different colours, makes and models. But in my country a Black Taxis is the most recognized.

In my city they are pretty much any possible colour that you would normally see on a car. There is only one cab company that specifically paints their cars white. All the other companies just have regular coloured cars. You can only tell they are taxis because of the light on the top of the car!

Most of the taxi cabs in my city are colored white and yellow, or a combination of both.. In that way, one can easily see if a taxi's coming since it's color-coded.:-)

here we have white colored cabs. well they are mosty and generally white. only one cab company is colored red with yellow and a few (3 i think) has yellow and green colors. the red and green cabs are more preferred because they are handled by big cab company and they have courteous and friendly drivers. sometimes it worrisome to ride an unfriendly cab driver and he'd take you away from where you're suppose to go and have you pay for huge fares.

Here in shanghai,Taxis have different colors.It depends which company they belong to.Basically,there are red,yellow,blue,green and white.

Here in my city though it is not the same as those big cities in our country but this is the only city is too advance when it comes to vehicle such as for taxis and others. in here we have to different kinds of taxis one is purely white and each of them differs to its own designs and stickers being put in the body and the other is the yellow colored body with some boxes of green or white stripes around. my city has the most expensive taxis among all other cities in the country because they use TOYOTA ALTIS for the purely white one as their taxis, also the NISSAN SENTRA for the yellow ones. we have also another kind of taxi, the new one here is the TOYOTA AVANZA and the SHUTTLE. that is why when some of the actors and actresses came here in the city, they got amazed when they saw those cars being used for taxis, they even took a picture of it because as what they say, those Toyotas used for taxis are so in demand in their city and here (in my city) you just use it for taxi.

in my home town i dont see a peculiar colour for a taxi usually its white or black. Today's private vehicle say Zen Estilo Rose may turn to cab tommorow thats it
