That's right, folks, as of October 29, Wonder Bread will no longer be available in Southern California. The nearest place to get it will be Las Vegas. It simply has not been selling well enough in SoCal to justify keeping it around. People are just too obsessed with healthful, organic foods here. I personally have never been a big fan, so, quite frankly, I won't miss it. But I know a lot of people love the stuff, and it has sentimental value as well (it became a national brand in 1925). Would you miss Wonder Bread if it were no longer available? If not Wonder Bread, than what about other iconic brands like, say, Spam? Could you live without it?

Wow, Wonder bread has never been one of my faves but I think it's a little drastic to ax it from stores. When I lived in San Diego there were some very cool Hostess outlets that sold the day old stuff like pies and cakes and they had a lot of different breads, bagels and foods that were so cheap you were crazy not to shop there and toss it in the freezer until you needed it.

Wonder bread has never been one of my favorites. My mom wouldn't buy it when I was a kid, and that just kind of stuck with me. It's also so much more expensive here than some of the other brands. If it were to be removed from the shelves here, more than likely I probably wouldn't even notice it.

Man I have not seen Wonder Bread in years, I didn't even know they were still making it, LOL. I buy store brand multi grain bread. I reckon I have been eating that for over 16 years now.
