My nine month old has started screaming instead of crying. Its driving me nuts. And today she has hardly slept and is now upstairs screaming again. I know her teeth are bothering her, but I gave her some motrin over an hour ago...more than enough time to set in. Part of me wants to give in and go get her...but I know she'll continue screaming if I give in too. Any suggestions?

give her some orajel or you might want to try the teething tablets. They are homeopathic and work really well

Baby screaming - Reason for a baby to scream
Poor her, i feel bad to hear what pain she must be under going and i feel you should be next to her and comforting her. Mothers heart i guss, or maybe you have been there and feel drained off so comehere or a while and break, but as i see it teething can be a major reason, another can be even cramps or some stomach ailment, as thats something we cannot decipher or hope shes not eaten anything. You can even check her daiper, if its not solied or if something else maybe bothering her. At times its a major tooth thats coming out, which takes around 1-2 days to come out i feel, during that time it pains them. What you can also try, besie the medicines, to which i never resorted to was to give them maybe a hard carrot or something like that, so that they remain busy as well as remain distracted from the pain and keep massaging their gums which hurt them too, just make sure in between that they dont take in a piece etc. This used to help my kids a lot as they used to also get the juice of the carrot in their mouth and feel good about it too. I dont think a baby will cry without a reasona nd after trying out all these things, if still nothing works then please do not delay and show her to a pediatrician the soonest. Hoping for the best for your baby.

Rub her gums with your finger, if it's her teeth trying to come out! This will help the teeth break through easier and sooner, and it will numb her gums, because pain after a certain point will go away! We also rubbed the babies gums with ambesol it is a temporary pain help! As soon as the tooth breaks through, it will be much better!

Hello, Laurla. Usually when a baby screams, it is because she doesn't feel good enough that makes her behave like that. I suggest that you take the baby to see a doctor to see what is wrong with her screaming like that.

ive seen reports of children like this on TV, going through teething ATM, i would revvomend taking her to the doctors and they can subscribe some stuff for it... and my top tip of the day is, keep calm.
