Well, a lot of newspapers have back issues online although I don't know that they keep them that far back. Local library should have some films of old newspapers. Also, you could try asking around. If it's a small town often families have lived in the town for many generations and if there was a drowning they will probably know about. City offices may be able to help, but I'm not sure. Are you thinking you have a ghost or something?

A nutcase just because you're being haunted? Nah...It's close to Halloween. You're allowed. However, if you ever post that you turned into superwoman and eliminated the ghost with your magic invisible laser spear, then it's time to worry!

Well, you could always check at the Library, but that takes alot of time. Also, you might want to look at Legacy.com, you might find something there of interest. By the way, whay Lake are you on? I likve near Lake Erie

It sounds like a mystery that needs to be solved:) Sometimes I find that I can explain things when I give it a type of title, like *missing person* or *mystery* or *suspense* It just makes it easier to go through all the research, gives it a purpose so to say.
