A Good Cry

Have you ever tried so hard to do something, that in not accomplishing it, you burst into tears? Have you ever had such horrific news given to you in the middle of a job that you could not hold back the tears that wanted to be let loose? Today's society tells us that crying is a sign of weakness and that men most certainly should never cry; but is this all so right? If crying is a sign of weakness, what type of weakness is being portrayed. Weakness of spirit? Weakness of Heart? What kind of weakness? Crying is really quite therapeautic; it realease a whole basin of tension and helps ease raveled nerves. Crying is really quite noble when you think of it; since it takes a person with character to go against the accepted norm. Next time you want to cry, go right ahead and remember: crying is another way our body copes with some problem inside

Yes, I have a hard time holding back my tears. I'm an emotional person and tend to cry and a lot of things. I cry at news stories that shock me, I cry while watching 'Extreme Home Makeover', I cry a ton. To me crying is not a weakness, but it shows that you have a tender heart - and in today's world we can't have enough of those.

whenever i feel as if i can't go on or when i need someone yet there is no one to cheer me up and give me any support or encouragement, i'll find it hard to hold back my tears. i hate crying in public but there were a few times when i just couldn't take it and my tears couldn't stop falling haha. it was embarrassing but oh well.

To me it seems that NOT crying is a sign of weakness. I know there are times when I just want a good cry to cleanse me, does that make sense. I think it shows a good strong side of a man to cry, shows he has emotions, now I don't mean if he cries because of a hang nail if you know what I mean.
