External Hard Disk

I'm currently in the market for an External Hard Drive (PC) that I intend to use to back up my media files. Does anyone have any suggestions for which are better than others? Is there a particular brand/model that I should definitely stay away from?

Don't know exactly, but I recently bought one from intex and its doing very fine as of now... The samsung ones are also quite good, but they are a little bit expensive.. I suggest U go for intex...

I bought a casing for my old hard-disk and use it as external hard disk, it works well and saved me money, so if you are looking to upgrade your computer just use the old disk for back -up.
