Do you think teacher should assign seats for students

I do think this may if the teacher has well knowledge of each students capabilities. This should not also should not harm those students. In some I had seen this as some may not listen to class or some get better guide from the student next to him so on. Still I there is bit positive side for a good teacher to assign seats for students.
