Do you know the difference between a nook and a cranny?

Just thought I would share with you a very useless fact that I think we have all heard or even used in our life. The difference between a nook and a cranny: A nook is a corner and a cranny is a crack. Now you know =)

I have a question for you? Whats the "dickens". I was injured several years ago, I said it hurt like the dickens. My granddaugher wanted to know what the dickens was. Do you know what it is, I don't.
