Is this purely political or what do you think?

It's purely moronic. This Texas tumbleweed went to the largest U.S. base we have in Iraq and tells everyone look what the current military surge has produced. No fighting in the region. Of course there's no fighting in the region The friggin base is there. In addition, the fighting is localized in other areas of Iraq. Where the surge was meant to quell the violence which it has failed. He also mentioned that if these "successes" continue he would "consider" bringing some troops home. Allow me to translate that. There are no successes. No one is stupid enough to hang around and fight where the largest U.S. base is located in Iraq. Again there was no success. There will be no troops coming home as I have pointed out there have been no successes. The rest of Iraq is in turmoil. Lastly, he threw in the word consider, which is his instant back door excuse to use the next time someone asks why no one is coming home. This half wit does nothing but speak with a twisted tongue spewing "his" truths. ‹(°¿°)›
