I couldn't manage to find a discussion that covered Hold Em Poker and it's "tells." A tell is a change in player behavious that gives you insight into how good his/her hand is. I'm interested in learning a few new tells and would love to share the tells I am familiar with. 1. The Stare Down - When a player has a weak hand it is not uncommon for them to bluff and feign confidence by staring you directly in the face. 2. The Hand Shake - Players hands may shake with increased adrenaline. The adrenaline rush represents a strong hand. Betting into the shake can be a huge mistake and you will often find yourself re-raised. 3. Interest Levels - If a player seems disinterested he/she probably has a strong hand. If a player is sitting erect in their chair and acting like this hand is the most important one they have ever played it is likely their hand is weak.*Remember strong is weak and weak is strong.* Players are always trying to deceive and reverse psycology is often the tool of choice. If anyone has more "tells" to share or would like to know about other tells feel free to post here.
