bonfire explosions

hey everybody! has anyone ever built a bonfire and melted bottles in it? the clear glass melts faster than colored glass,check it out. now we also experimented with can goods. we put a can of tomatoes in the fire and of course moved far back and waited.... KABOOM! went the can it launched way up in the air and flew if you will over the house never to be recovered. we live way away from everyone so no one could get hurt or property damage. we did other can goods also and some would do differently. don't try this at home!
