I did once. I dreamt I asked God to allow me to fly, so He did. Well I got a little cocky and said I was doing it...then I fell to the ground and my friends caught it on tape lol. It was an interesting dream.

Well I've never had a dream where I was flying by myself but I once had a dream that I was holding onto a jets wing for dear life as it was flying at it's maximum height! It was kind of scary actually because I remember in my dream how hard of a time I was having holding on! I think this dream could've reflected on the fact that I feel insecure when it comes to trying new things, this dream was trying to tell me that I can accomplish anything (even hanging onto a moving jet for dear life) as long as I give a full effort.

I used to dream I could fly all the time. Is seems so real. I love it when I have these dreams they are awesome.

i do this too, i have heard its linked to our pottential for asteral travel where part of us leaves our body and can travel anywhere in time and space. Im not sure but i do like to think it may be true

every few nights for my entire younger childhood - from 3 or 4 years old to about 12 - I had flying dreams. But they were HORRIFIC! Absolutely terrifying. They were always the same - I was always desperately trying to fly - I would flap and flap my arms wildly, but not get very high and go so slowly - it was so tiring! - and I was always being chased by people and always JUST out of their reach by a few centimetres. Horrible dreams!

I also had a really weird flying dream as an adult! Here's the dream:
I am invited to a posh party through a friend with many wealthy acquaintances. I get dressed up and I leap into the air and fly to the party. I land on the balcony. A few women watch me land and start talking about me. My friend sees me, and we talk and eat buffet foods. I'm shmoozing and circulating, and these women keep talking about me, they talk about me as they stand next to me. I hear them say:
"Can you believe the way she just FLEW in here?!" So I got hurt feelings and then I decided I don't have to stay here and have my feelings hurt by these snobby women, so I lept into the air from the balcony and flew away!
Then I woke up! Weird dream!

That's how my flying dreams started as a child, being chased, then in one dream I just climbed a slide, slid down, and started flying! Ever since then, I've had fun flying dreams, although as a child, the dream always started with me on a slide to fly, even though I wasn't being chased anymore.

Thats really nice that slide ream...! Nice ending to the nightmares! I'm very interested thought to find someone else who had those same nightmares!
I've actually had some really awful flying dreams as an adult as well. In one of them I was flying quite high, but when I 'came down to land' I accidentally hit a telephone wire and was electrocuted and killed! Wow I really am a bundle of laughs aren't I lol! :)

In all my crazy dreams that I have had I probably have, but at the moment I can not pin point an exact dream that I could fly in, but I a sure there are probably plenty of them, especially when I was a child. I do day dream about flying though. It would be awesome if we could fly to get around, like the birds.

I always dream that I could fly either be like Superman or be a bird and fly all over the world. I would love to be able to view the world from the sky regularly free of charge and be able to explore. It is so beautiful to look down from the sky in a plane. I hope that I can be a bird in my next life.

Yes it is alot of fun! I once drempt that I "flew" to the "HOLLYWOOD" sign and had a picnic on top of it!

I've drempt that I could fly since I was a little girl. The thing is when I'm flying I have to use my legs. Like when you are on a swing, or a bike. I have to move my legs back and forth to keep going, lol. Isn't that weird? I'd kick the crap out of my sisters when I was younger and now my old man...ha ha
Do you have to do anything to fly or do you just get to fly? I'm always sitting straight up ~ as if I were sitting in a chair. I hope your flying experiences are less strenuous than mine are...I wake up exhausted. *laugh*

Me too! The last flying dream involved flying over favorite places an old friend and I used to visit as teens--then we "flew" (like superman!) to the "Hollywood" sign, we sat in the "O" and had a picnic!

I can't remember if I've had an actual dream where I was flying. I certainly used to daydream about it fairly often, though! *laugh* It seems like it would be so wonderful to be able to soar up to the clouds and go on all kinds of adventures. Whee! *laugh*
