...Have you evaluated your activities from August to see what worked and what didn't? And have you decided what new/additional steps you're going to take to make September an even better month than August? I'll start: My monetary goal for September is $500 from my online activities. To some this may seem low, but one has to start somewhere. My strategy will be to advertise, advertise, advertise! I've got one FREE advertising source listed on my profile and I'll be adding another in the next day or so. The other thing I'll be doing is going through all those eBooks I've downloaded/purchased and evaluate them to see if they are worth even the storage on my computer. :-) That's it for now as I will have to work this around my J.O.B. So let's share ideas. Do you plan on making September a more profitable month than August was? What is your goal? Do you have the systems in place to achieve it in September? Or will you have to get it started to achieve your goal in October? Later?

I would be happy to get just $5 per month from make money sites lie mylot. It took over 2 months to get my first payout from mylot and my activites and what they pay has dropped a lot since then. So I goal, other than getting quarterly taxes done, will be to work even harder at my normal income resource which is investing.

Would that be $5 on each site or $5 total? What's that investing source you mentioned?

$5 total. The investing is managing my own investments in stocks and bonds, etc. I have been unemployed for many years and live off of my investment income. I was very frugal and saved at a much higher rate than most people when I was employed so when I became uemployed I had enough money saved and invested that with even a more frugal lifestyle I can get by on that income. What I get and will probably ever get from things like mylot on the Internet is really nothing(it won't even put a dent in paying for my milk chocolate addiction) and is just a hobby.

I am just going to work harder this month. Starting about mid-July I just slacked off and didn't get back into the groove because I had to dedicate a lot of time to school. I am also looking into new ways to make money online and may go back to selling more on ebay for extra money.

That's great. School should be your first priority. What do you sell on eBay? I used to sell on eBay as well. Did you get the email that you can list your items for free all of September if you list your item for $9.99 or less? I'm going to try to put some stuff up.

Well, I use to sell books and clothes and stuff. What I would like to get into is drop shipping if I can find a good company to deal with. Don't get me wrong I have a TON of stuff around here to sell, but I would rather not have to deal with shipping it all.

Dealing with shipping was my least part of selling on eBay. I don't know of a reputable dropshipper to recommend. Sorry :-(

The whole idea of reviewing what you did in the previous month really works out to our benefit. I definitely have thought about it and decided on the following: 1. Not to waste money, and to find ways to earn from realistic sites and places. 2. Not waste energy - to use it for the most important and useful things in life. 3. Not to waste time on unnecessary things - spend it on more useful things which bring in more results. 4. To talk less and work more. 5. To plan my expenses and ensure I have enough in hand to meet these. You have any suggestions on how you do it please let me know. This is how I do!

You sound as though you have a handle on the areas that you want to improve on. 1. "Not to waste money" - What I usually do is when I go into any store, I keep in mind my bank balance and when I pick something up I ask myself if I can do without it for another week or until next payday. 1a. "Find ways to earn from realistic sites and places" - Do you need suggestions on these types of sites? 2. "Not waste energy" - Not sure what you mean by that as it relates to your internet activities. 3. "Not to waste time on unnecessary things..." - Have you identified those activities that are a waste of time? 4. "To talk less and work more" - Only you know how to handle that area. :-) 5. "To plan my expenses and ensure I have enough in hand to meet these" - Good idea. What I did was write down all my bills that I pay throughout the month to find out how much I actually needed. That is how I came up with the figure of $500 extra this month.

I was disappointed in my August activity here in myLot, merely because I wasn'y able to achieve my goal.. however, I cannot blame myself for that because there was a lot of unavoidable circumstances that month.. Now, that it's september I am determined to qualify myself for my first ever payout next month... I am crossing my fingers now and I hope that I can achieve my goal... have a great myLotting.

I have to work harder and earn more for this month and the succeeding months. I have to save a bigger amount to achieve my goal before the year ends. I plan to log more on mylot so that I could already received my first pay out on christmas. I made a bigger amount as payout ($25.00) and I am still a bit far.

What are you going to be doing differently from August? Do you have a goal of how much money you need to earn each month until Christmas? I've heard that if you have a specific goal in mind it helps you to work towards it. I'll have to confess that I haven't been good at goal setting in the past but I'd like to give it a go again this month. And I thought maybe working with "friends" it would make it easer to stay on track. What do you think?
