Do You Buy or Sell eBooks Online?

I have never read any ebooks before and I am wondering how many of you would buy or sell ebooks online. I am a bit primitive and I still prefer to read on paper. But sometimes ebooks are so cheap (ebay are selling some for $1 only!) that it's really tempting for me to buy. *smiles* Where do you usually get your ebooks? What type of ebooks do you usually get?

I bought an ebook online once, I had tried to get the actual book itself but it was sold out and I didn't want to wait so I got the ebook for 1/2 the price of the real book. It took me twice as long to read and I hated it, well the ebook itself not the reading material. I like to read when I am comfortable like in bed or in a nice chair with some tea or juice and a blanket. So for me I felt like it was hard to get into the book and had to keep re-reading some parts. I got the ebook from the author's website, it was a book about dating. The advice was great, the boyfriend wasn't, lol.

*laughs* Really? Interesting. I think for ebook, I would prefer to read technical stuff rather than novels or things like that, like you said, it would be hard for me to get the ideas inside. But for technical/ advice stuff, then it should be easier and the ebook won't be too lengthy! But my problem is I don't like staying in front of the computer for way too long if I am reading something.

Really? *laughs* You could resell that in ebay and make some money if it has resale rights. I am reading something about ebook and I start to get interested in making one of my own *laughs*, again should be about beauty stuff. I don't know if anyone would buy from me but I don't think it hurts anything to try when I am jobless *laughs*. You might consider writing one of your own about making money online too (basically using the information from your informative blog)! I think you will do good. If you need further information, I would send you a link to download an ebook (FREE) about how and why to write an ebook, it's only 9 pages *smiles*.

lol, Yes it was one of those totally cheesy "how to get a millionaire man" type books, lol. I'm totally ashamed, lol. A friend had read it and tried it and it worked, she's married now so I thought ok it's only $7 let's have a look. It did work pretty good and I did almost marry a millionaire, in his mind we're still going to get married one day, but the relationship was so not worth the money or my $7, lol. I have the same problem as you do, if I'm reading something specific on my pc, I hate to have to sit infront of it the whole time. I don't mind if I'm doing various things but it becomes boring when you're reading one long thing. I wouldn't buy another ebook. Plus I love to share my books with friends and such and with ebooks, it's illegal to email or foward them.

i bought an ebook online. it was pretty good. the price is a little bit cheaper than the paper version. i like ebook because it is very convenient when access it in my computer. i don't have to carry around books all the time. all i have to do is open my computer and read it just like reading news on cnn.com or something. one thing that i hate about reading an ebook on my computer is that i hate reading ebooks on my computer because it hurts my eyes for a long period of time. i prefer reading a piece of paper because it doesn't strain my eyes that quick when i am reading. mentioning this, my luck just came when sony e-reader portable ebook reader came out. i have been reading the reviews and the products details and i am enticed to buy this product. it is not like a computer screen that uses backlight screen, it is a new technology called paperlike screen ink or something. all i know is that this toy can read ebooks in different format and the best thing is that it is like reading on a piece of paper.

That's true! The only thing I have concern on ebooks would be that it would hurt my eyes if the ebook is rather long!

hello, it is really a bargain but i would suggest that you start getting the free ones first and build it from there so you won't have to spend. you could sell them at around $5 to $11 on ebay.here are the suggested site where you can get free ebooks. be a member of warriorforum , you will be in contact with entrepreneurs who are willing to help you.then you can ask for assistance where to get free ebooks for resale rights.once you are earning then use the money you earned to buy the PLR's.

Hey it seems to be a really good forum! I will get registered! Oh my gosh! I checked that most of the ebooks there are selling too cheap! Like $1? I mean with the listing fees and stuff, then I don't think any profit would be made!

I thought they were a little pricey averaging about $30 each, but one contained information unavailable elsewhere and it is hard to put a price on that.

Right it's really hard to put a price tag! I just had a thought of writing one on my own a minute ago! It seems fun and it seems interesting to own an ebook *laughs*. Oh one more idea and that means I might be able to experiment that when I am jobless! *yay*

Hello wondericequeen, I bought an e-book before and it costs me $1 and guess what? I got it from e-bay too *smiles* Since the price is cheaper that the hardcover, I don't mind to spend some money to buy it online too. My husband and I did sell some e-books last time for just a few Malaysian Ringgit. It is just for fun and we need to see the response of local market about selling e-books online.

Right, it's scarily cheap and I wonder how much the people would make by selling it $1! It just scares me *laughs*.

I have gotten a couple of ebooks and really enjoyed them. But then again, I read a lot of stuff online, usually short storys. They were a romance and a couple scifi books. The only thing is you can't take them into the bathroom with you!LOL Well, I guess you could.....

I don't sell books online because they are precious for me. I can't sell them for money, because some books I can't buy them any more. On the contrary, I like buying books online. I also download ebooks so that I can read from my cellphone. I like reading stories or science fictions. I also enjoying reading comics:)

I have only bought 3 ebooks ever. One was about snoring and the other two were on skincare topics. Two of them were bought as gifts for friends and one was information I wanted for myself.

I had some ebooks, big ebooks (with many pages), I can call them tutorials (for programing in general). But I didn't read it, because I don't have the required patient and time...
