If without computer and internet, what will you do for your interest?

I think today many people are addicted in computer and internet. If one day these two things are not available any more, what will be your interests? Perhaps I will spend my time doing some polymer clay as I like it. I think I am talent to do it. Today the computer and internet really occupy lots of my spare time.

I like your hobbies. Polymer clay is a kind of handmade handicraft. You can make any figures and after putting them into the oven for some minutes, it'll be done.

Hello youless!:-) I already take a break from my computer and internet now to cherish moments with my friends. Even when on internet, I prefer to spend time with my family watching them on cam. I'll go out and take a walk, breath fresh air, see children playing, feel the breeze and the silent moments of my loneliness when actually I am not alone but spiritually with someone. So my agenda is all setup for such an event:-)

I've come to rely on the computer and internet for almost anything I need to do regularly. I think I will get some kind of withdrawal symptom if these are taken away from my life. Without these, I think I will spend more time doing my scrapbooks of my previous holidays. I used to do these until electronic scrapbook and photo album software are available, so without these, I will go back to the manual way, and do cut & paste and designing on physical albums. I will also probably read more newspapers, magazines and journals to gain knowledge and keep up with the news. I have come to depend on the internet for much of the news nowadays because there are so many sources I can easily get my hands on from the internet.

Thank you for your vote. LOL...without the internet, I wouldn't be able to write this to you. Come to think of it, without internet technology, social networking and sharing on forums like these is practically impossible, and I will not get to know so many people from across the world in a place like this!

Without computer or internet we would be like totally separated from the world. And also really bored, so i hope we don't have to see the day. But if this happened i guess i would sit and play some music on my violin. Or even sit (sleep actually) and read a book or two. I could even help in the house-work. See the list is endless. There's loads of things we can do. But still it's better to have the computer and internet.

I will have to go back and start using my typewriter and I would not like it, having to keep all those pages with my novel written on them and since I would not have a computer, how can I copy my novel onto the typewriter? I would have to start from scratch and by memory. Also my husband does not like too much junk around. I might have to start making up recipes, and that would lead to eating more. I certainly would not be able to make any money though. So it would be hard.

Well, I wouldn't be able to sell my crafts online, so I'd probably spend less time crafting and more time taking strolls on the beach looking for beach glass. If I ever hit the lottery or MyLot starts paying $100 per post, I'd spend every day on a beach somewhere, looking to see what the tides left behind for me : ) aand feel lucky to be doing only that!

Hi youless! I agree with you that the internet and computer has become an absolute necessity these days and one cannot imagine life without it. Earlier I use to paint and indulge in crafts but these days i have no time for it. If there is no computer or internet i think i would get a lot of time to indulge in my said passions.

There are periods when internet is not working. I do my system designing and auditing. Then there are times when power is not there and Laptop battery has discharged. I lie down and think about good periods in my life. It motivates me.

i don't know if this post was jinxed or was it just a coincidence. Or it could have even been my bad luck. But once i turned of my pc after posting to this thread, my pc never turned on again. My motherbored crashed and is still out. So now i'm at a cyber. Anyways what i did was a real shock to me myself. 'I started writing songs!' Yeah that's a real shocking thing. But still i miss using my pc, cause its got all my stuff & i cant use it. Waaaaaaahhhhhh :(

Without computer and internet, I am busy engaging my spare time either reading books, painting, composing poems or short stories or anecdotes, or simply malling with my family or friends. But just like you, when i am not busy, I am always in front of my computer doing online prgrams. Hoping ti will give me an extra income.
