If God called you to live a celibate life, do you think you can handle it?

We could have different things going on in our lives right now. This may be true or not for you but all I'm asking is "what if?". Do you think you can handle living a celibate life?

Whatever God calls us to do, He will equiped us to carry it out. He will not call us to do something that we cannot do. He will give us what we need to do His will. We just have to be willing to seek and do His will.

You are right. No matter what kind of a lifestyle God calls us to do through his word it is impossible for us to do it alone. But God will supply everything we need to carry out his will. This is what has happened many times in the Bible and throughout history when God calls someone to be a prophet or a teacher or a pastor. They be the most meek and shy people but God has used them in a mighty way that you would think is not possible for the person to do.

So true. Look at Moses. He was old and had a speech problem, but God called him to deliver His people from Pharoah. God supplied all his needs.

I'm not Christian BUT if I were and such a thing happened then yes I could....being celibate really isnt that difficult to do and I was for 2 yrs while doing my own soul searching after leaving my kids dad and before I met my husband and I can honestly say it was one of the smartest things I've ever done and the most productive time in my life on a spiritual level...
