I felt like crap. I slept most of the weekend. I did have my grandson's Sunday and Monday, so they kept me entertained. I usually take them to the park but I just wasn't feeling well..We don't usually do anything special on this day anyway..I am glad your hubby is coming home. I would be lost without mine..

It is okay. Actually no. I have a pain in my neck and it is tingling all the time now. I just don't feel right lately..I've even lost 15 pounds since June. I think my iron is low. I have been having dizzy spells...thank you for asking..

Well, this wasn't a long holiday for UK but Monday was bank holiday, so some may have but my husband did not have still he took the day off and we were in a short trip, for camping in the countryside in Edinburgh and also there was an International festival and fire works thing there so we were there. I have plan to post some pics from that but i always scare to upload pics as it takes too much time

I did the same thing as you for my long weekend. I caught up on some stuff at home, and got to slend some extra time with my pets. That, of course, is my favorite thing in the world, to do. Of course, alot of it, was spent arguing with my grumpy husband, but even weighing in that factor. It was still better being here, than being at work, with my grumpy supervisor. lol

My family had a cookout at my moms house. We fried up 10 pounds of chicken wings and some fries. The whole lot of use had to try out all four of the different sauces my stepdad threw together for the wings.

We went all the way to Saskatoon from Winnipeg for my husband's niece's wedding. My younger son came with us and my older son, his wife, and the baby had left earlier from Winnipeg, because the baby's fussy and they could not make the trip in one day. Yes on the way there, we stopped at Huskies for lunch and dinner. I'll have to suggest that they serve some low carb meals. Bread, french fries, any kind of pasta or rice makes me gain weight. When we arrived, we caught up on quite a lot of news, how things had gone. The weather was beautiful, although it was cloudy on the wedding day. Oh and I discovered that United Church wedding ceremonies are very short, only half and hour. Ours are quite long and take about an hour or more what with the singing, preaching on being a good wife or husband, and all that. We did have a good meal at the reception, but the music was a bit too loud. I wanted my husband to dance with me, but his ears started to ring and he preferred to sit down and he's younger than me.

Umm...on Sunday i went to Killarney's which is an Irish Pub in my town only about 5 minutes from my house. We went and had dinner, then drinks while we watched and participated in karaoke. Quite entertaining because most of the people who participate suck horribly at singing and know it...and they sing hilarious songs. It's great fun.

On Saturday we spent the day back to school shopping for my son (hitting all the sales), then went out to lunch and then played mini golf in the afternoon. On Sunday it was Fathers Day in New Zealand and Australia so we took my husband out (well in fact our visitors treated us to lunch) at a Japanese restaurant where the chef cooked the food in front of us, it was awesome and delicious. We then helped our visitors move to their new home in Herndon. Was so tired after that, that we spent most of Monday sleeping in and lazying around the house. My son started school today and it went very well. he will be home in 40 minutes or so and I can't wait to hear all about his first day at school :) Hope you were ok without your hubby this weekend!

I bet your glad your hubby is coming home...Just wondering did your kitties miss their "pop" too...LOL This weekend saw me busy finalizing that grant proposal which I did...I was so happy and proud of myself for doing that as the deadline I discovered to my dismay, instead of being the usual October 3rd, was Sept 15th--so I had to really shake my buns and work on it...and finished...I mailed it out today after waiting on a LOVELY long line at the Post Office..but now I can breathe a sigh of relief...it's on its way to them...Now to work on the other grants...hehe

Hi TerryZ! It has been raining here in our place this weekend so there is not much to do except to laze around and sleep most of the time. However, I still went to my grandmother's home to visit her and went to the mall with my brother and his children. Did have a great time with them. Take care and have a nice day.

i went to my aunt's house and slept most of the time. some times i went to watch tv. listen to my cds and surf the internet. i also watch yu yu hakusho with my cousin on my laptop. all the episodes of yu yu hakusho i downloaded them in my 5 hundred gigabyte hardrive. i have a lot of space in my hard drive. i want to have space for my music, movies, and pictures, and also softwares. i love this kinds of stuff that's why i bought a huge hardrive. i am a computer addict. i love to surf the internet for a lot of things and reasons. i love to buy online because i can find a lot of cheap products online. the best thing that i have done while i was over at my aunt's house was to eat pancit. i love my aunt's cooking of pancit. it has been a long time since i last ate pancit. i love it, love it, love it...hmmmm. yummy!!
