yesterday i have heard it on the news that the song umbrella sang by rihanna was first given to mary j blige and that she rhinna uses her femenity to have the song given to her do you think that if mary had sung the song would it be a hit would it sound better than rihanna version what do you think

Girl, You can't believe everything you hear! I don't think mary would have even made an attempt to sing that stupid song!

Anything is better with Mary :) but....I do have to say that "UMBRELLA" just isn't Mary's style. I have been a huge fan of Mary's since her first album "What's the 411" and just don't think that Rihanna- who just came upon the seen can compete. Don't get me wrong- I like her- and the song- but she won't last like Mary has ;)
